Kanae Outpost [Brickonicle Concept]

This is one of many model I built as a set concept for the Brickonicle (Bionicle G3) Project, which was started by the TTV Channel.
The new set has 519 pieces including the 4 masks,which I painted on to show what the real set would look like.

The set includes the Kanae Outpost, a little airship and a Proto-Drake. The included minifigures are: Lewa, Guurahk, Kongu, a Kanae-Guard and a Naho-Arbitor

The Outpost:
The Outpost consists of two floating rocks connected by a small bridge, it holds a shooting defense-turret and some weapons and armor. There is also room to fit some minifigures.
By pulling a lever on one of the floating rocks the bridge comes down. (This function is inspired by a certain Ninjago set…)
The turret also has connection points that allow it to be attached to some of my other set concepts.

The Airship:
The airship fits one minifigure has movable Thrusters and a shooting crossbow attached to it.

The Proto-Drake:
Inspired by the G1-Rahi, I built this little system Rahi for the Water Matoran to ride, it is very posable and uses a mix of constraction and system, by doing that, I tried to give it a biomechanical-looking design.

Combination with other sets:
The Outpost can be connected to some of my other sets or another outpost. But you can also combine multiple copies of the outpost.

Minifigures:
Because it’s a Kanae set, I included Lewa, same design as always. I also added Guurahk for some conflict in the box. The first Matoran is a Naho-Arbitor, I featured some matoran writing and a G1-styled knife in his design, as well as some seaweed. The Kanae guard is included as the pilot for the airship, I went with some brighter colors for him.For Kongu I added some more detail and some G1 references. Additionally he has some pinting on the Mask, but not as much as the Toa.
Because we now have the medium long legs, I also wanted to try how the Matoran would look with those, so I made a compairison picture.
